Learner Entry Requirements: Learners must have previously completed and achieved a Level 4 Anatomy and Physiology qualification that includes core knowledge of facial anatomy.

Learners are also required to have knowledge and experience of investigative consultations and advanced skin assessment. The Level 4 Award in Investigative Consultation and Advanced Skin Assessment is required unless the learner can provide evidence of equivalent qualifications and relevant industry experience. Acceptable evidence includes a qualification certificate or a current CV demonstrating that the learner routinely carries out investigative consultations and advanced skin assessments within their professional practice.

Course aims: The aim of the Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Chemical Skin Peeling Treatments is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to safely provide chemical peels.

This course covers: Understanding, planning and conducting chemical skin peeling
Course Structure: This qualification is internally assessed. Once you have completed your theory at home and some written assignments, you will then attend a 1 day practical training day, working on at least 3 models.
After this you will complete and submit 3 case studies. Once these have been approved, you will need to conduct 3 observations (can be done face to face or via Zoom).
You will need access to a computer and Word (or equivalent).
Kit: You will need a chemical peel kit
