 CPD to Focus Awards conversion pathway: Already trained in advanced blemish removal/thermoloysis: If you hold high-quality CPD certification in Thermolysis (ACP) and/or Cryotherapy, you may be eligible to fast-track your qualification with us.

• We assume that your previous CPD training has been delivered to a high standard - so this conversion route does not include additional teaching or learning materials. Instead, you’ll complete assignments, case studies, and practical observations only.
• This is ideal for experienced practitioners looking to elevate their CPD qualification to an Ofqual-regulated Level 4 certification without repeating content you’ve already mastered.

Conversion Prices:

• If you hold both Thermolysis (ACP) & Cryotherapy CPD qualifications: £1,100, which includes a booking fee of £200
• If you hold a Thermolysis (ACP) CPD qualification only: £1,425 (you will receive face to face training and manuals for Cryopen), which includes a booking fee of £220

Learner Entry Requirements:  Learners must have previously completed and achieved a Level 4 Anatomy and Physiology qualification that includes core knowledge of facial anatomy.

Learners are also required to have knowledge and experience of investigative consultations and advanced skin assessment. The Level 4 Award in Investigative Consultation and Advanced Skin Assessment is required unless the learner can provide evidence of equivalent qualifications and relevant industry experience.  Acceptable evidence includes a qualification certificate or a current CV demonstrating that the learner routinely carries out investigative consultations and advanced skin assessments within their professional practice.

 Level 4 Award in Investigative Consultation & Advanced Skin Assessment 

Course aims: The Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Thermolysis & Cryotherapy for Blemish Removal Treatments is to provide learners with the skills & knowledge required to safely provide these treatments for blemish removal.

Qualification Structure:

You'll gain knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to provide for blemish removal treatments. Treatments covered are:

• Reduction of blemishes
• Reduction of skin tags, moles, blood spots or sun spots

Course Structure: This qualification is internally assessed.  Each learner must create a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria 

Support is available from your tutor should you require it.

You will need access to a computer and Word (or equivalent).

When you train with us on a Focus Awards practical course, there’s a clear structure to ensure you're supported every step of the way. After your in-person training, you’ll complete your observations, case studies, assignments and compile a portfolio of evidence. This takes time – and rightly so, as it ensures high standards and full compliance with regulated qualifications.

But we know you want to start offering treatments as soon as possible. That’s why, once your tutor has assessed your case studies and you're deemed competent, you’ll be awarded a CPD Certificate of Completion. This means you can begin offering blemish removal treatments and earning an income, while your official Level 4 Focus Awards certificate is processed and issued.
